Panoramic Boxed Cards
These cards are photos of aprons that illustrate complex arrangements of colorful glass beads in geometric patterns, and trimmed with cotton fringe and cowry shells. The examples of bead work reproduced here were made by women of the Kirdi tribe, in Cameroon. From the Brooklyn Museum's African collection.
