Silver Sculpture Garden
Amber Swirl Cuff Bracelet
The Frieda Schiff Warburg Memorial Sculpture Garden Collection is a preeminent collection of architectural sculpture and ornament from demolished buildings in the New York metropolitan area. In addition to the objects on view in the Sculpture Garden, the Brooklyn Museum transferred many objects to the Metropolitan Transit Authority. These objects have been installed on the mezzanine level of the recently renovated subway station in front of the Museum.
This jewelry collection was created by Cynthia Gale in conjunction with the Brooklyn Museum and is made of sterling silver and is created entirely by hand utilizing the ancient metalwork technique known as repousse.
