Storm in the Rockies: Albert Bierstadt
(German-American, 1830-1902)
Bierstadt's 1859 trip to the Rocky Mountains inspired him to do great landscape paintings of the western wilderness. "Storm in Rockies" is a panoramic vista with much careful detail. Mt. Rosalie (now Mt. Evans) was named by Bierstadt in honor of the woman he would marry. This poster is printed in full color on quality paper stock. 26" x 30"
