Boomerang Tie
These ties are inspired by the Skylark or Boomerang pattern that was first designed by Brooks Stevens in 1950 & updated by Raymond Loewy in 1954. It was designed for the Formica Corp. and became a staple of post-war American kitchen decoration. While the biomorphic shapes echo atomic particles & aerodynamic styling, the all-over pattern & interweaving planes are reminiscent of the depiction of space by artists.100% silk. Red or Blue.
