Egyptian Ornamentation Notecard Box
OUT OF STOCK
You don't need to know hieroglyphs to write with flair on our Egyptian Ornamentation notecards. The colorful illustrations by Emile Prisse d'Avennes recording details of tombs from Thebes were reproduced in the book Histoire
de l'art egyptienne d'apres les monuments depuis les temps le plus recules jusqu'a la domination romaine, published in Paris 1878-79 and now in the Wilbour Library of Egyptology at the Brooklyn Museum. The designs may be from the 18th Dynasty, but the papyrus and scarab beetles look fresh today!
