This pair of colorful earrings with a painted lotus image, is inspired by images in I monunenti dell'Egitto e della NubiaM by Ippolito Rosellini (1800-1843) from the Brooklyn Museum's Wilbour Library of Egyptology. The multi-volume set offers an array of colors and decorative elements found on monuments in Egypt and recorded by Rosellini, the founder of Egyptology in Italy, that served to inspire many generations to come.Made in USA
