Eye of Horus Pin
The wadjet or Eye of Horus,, the falcon god, was used by the ancient Egyptians as a protection against evil. This pin is adapted from the wadjet on a box coffin of a Pricess Mayet, who lived during Dynasty 11, circa 2035 B.C. The painted wood box is in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum.Dimensions: 1.5" x 1.5"
