Hiroshige Deluxe Address Book
Utagawa Hiroshige (Japan, 1797-1858)

Hiroshige worked in the landscape genre, capturing atmospheric conditions in bold compositions. Japan’s Edo period (1615–1868) was a time of peace and prosperity. A middle class arose, became wealthy, and cultivated a love of woodblock prints.

This address book presents forty of Hiroshige’s works from the collection of the Brooklyn Museum. All reproductions derive from the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo".

This deluxe address book is hardbound with a hidden spiral binding that allows it to lie absolutely flat. Forty full color reproductions complement information pages with room for 480 names, addresses, home and business telephone numbers, cell/pager, and e-mail addresses.

Shipped individually shrink-wrapped for safety.
