Hieroglyphic Silk Tie
Hieroglyphics were developed about 4000BC. Unlike other cultures the early pictures were never discarded or simplified because they were so lovely to look at. Hieroglyphics were written in rows or columns and can be read from left to right or vice versa. You can distinguish the direction because the human or animal face towards the beginning of the line and upper symbols are read before lower. Hieroglyphic symbols were also considered protective amulets. These 100% SILK ties were inspired by many hieroglyphics from the Egyptian Art collection of the Brooklyn Museum.BLUE ONLY.
