Mandarin Bloom Note Card Tin Box

The patterned tin box and the two styles of tent cards inside are base on rich textile patterns from a 10-volume set of rare books, Shokubun Ruisan, (volumes devoted to the art of weaving) compiled by the Imperial Household Museum in Tokyo, published in 1893. Cards were inspired by the set in the Brooklyn Museum.

12 cards: 6 each of 2 images. 13 color-matched (deep sage) envelopes. Decorative tin box with PVC window.
