Sarcophagus Glass Ornament
This hand blown ornament depicts the Cartonnage of Nespanetjerenpere which once held the mummy (preserved body) of an ancient Egyptian. The painted scenes show gods, goddesses, and magical spells that will promote the happiness of the mummified person in the afterlife. From the Egyptian Arts Collection.This ornament has been hand-crafted in Poland. Following the traditions dating back many generations this ornament is mouth blown and hand painted of the Calik's workshop.
