How do I return an item?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your merchandise with a copy of your packing slip within 30 days for store credit or exchange (less shipping cost) whichever you prefer. Items may also be returned in person to the Museum Shop.

Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be canceled any time before it is shipped. Simply send an email to Shop@Brooklynmuseum.org or call 718.501.6340 during business hours.
When will my order ship?
We ship via UPS and Priority Mail. Please specify your preference and an accommodating daytime delivery address when ordering. Please note that UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box address. Orders are generally shipped within 3 business days of being placed.


Expedited delivery indicates the delivery time once the shipment has been picked up by UPS. Shipments may not always be picked up on the same day the order is placed. Ground shipments generally take 7-10 days from ship date. Please keep this in mind when you select your shipping preference.

Museum and shop offices are closed on federal holidays and weekends. Orders received during these times will be shipped within 3 days of the next business day.
What are the shop hours?
The Brooklyn Museum Gift Shop is open:

• Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am – 6:00pm
• Thursdays from 11:00am – 10:00 pm.
• Additionally, the first Saturday of each month we are open from 11:00am–11:00pm.
• The museum and shop are closed Monday and Tuesday.
How can I submit a product?
To submit your products for consideration, please mail or e-mail images (we prefer a link), pricing and all relevant information to, Shop@brooklynmuseum.org or the mailing address below. Submissions mailed to the Brooklyn Museum offices will not be returned. We do not accept samples.

We do appreciate and consider all submissions, however due to the volume of designs and products we review it’s impossible to respond to every submission. We will contact you if we have a place for your work in the shop. Please refrain from following up with phone calls or emails.

Do members receive a discount?
All members receive a 10% discount. Please provide your member number in the – what area -- or sign up for a shop account to have your discount applied automatically each time you shop. There are no additional member’s discounts on sale items.
