Anasazi Pueblo Tie
Anasazi, or the Ancient Ones, refer to the people who lived in the cliff dwellings in the Four Corners of the Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. An astonishing variety of black-on-white, fine-line design pottery has been collected from ruins. Contemporary potters such as Grace Chino often draw inspiration from Anasazi designs. This necktie pattern has been adapted from both ancient Anasazi and contemporary pottery in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum.
