These ties are inspired by the Skylark or Boomerang pattern that was first designed by Brooks Stevens in 1950 and updated by Raymond Loewy in 1954. It was designed for the Formica Corporation and became a staple of post-war American kitchen decoration. While the biomorphic shapes echo atomic particles and aerodynamic styling, the all-over pattern and interwoven planes are reminiscent of the depiction of space by artists.

100% silk. Available in Red or Blue.
