Anasazi Pueblo Tie
Anasazi, or the Ancient Ones, refer to the people who lived in the cliff dwellings in the Four Corners of the Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado & Utah. An astonishing variety of black-on-white, fine line design pottery has been collected from ruins. Contemporary potters, such as Grace Chino {(1930-)Aconma Pueblo}, often draw inspiration from Anasazi designs. This necktie pattern has been adapted from both ancient Anasazi & contemporary pottery in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum. 100% Silk
