This nine-block set celebrates all eight planets in our solar system, along with bonus dwarf planet Pluto. On each block, two debossed sides feature the planet’s symbol, name, and number of moons, while the four printed sides include an illustration and its diameter, location, and distance from the sun.
The solar system offers so much to explore. Which planet has the most moons? Which has the least? Which is the closest to Earth? The farthest? Which is the biggest? The smallest? How will you line them up: in order from the sun, or stacked to please your eye?

In 1983 William Bultman was shocked and dismayed to learn that no one in the U.S. seemed to be making wooden blocks for children anymore. He began hand-manufacturing classic wooden alphabet blocks in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and named his company “Uncle Goose.” Today, Uncle Goose continues to handcraft their products in Grand Rapids, using materials sourced from around the Great Lakes.
