Azuma Makoto is a flower artist based in Tokyo. Since 2002, he has been running a flower shop and exploring the possibilities of expression through flowers and plants.
From 2005, he expanded his activities to Europe, America, South America, Asia, and other parts of the world, actively engaging in various projects. In 2009, he founded "AMKK (Azuma Makoto, Flower Laboratory)" and has since presented numerous innovative works in art museums, galleries, and public spaces around the world. He continues to pursue the allure of flowers and plants from a unique perspective that goes beyond the realm of floral art.
